Italy 1917

The 18th and 21st Battalions gained the battle honour "Italy" for the Regiment. They went with the 41st Division from France to the Italian Front in November, 1917, and after holding the line on the River Piave for three and a half months without serious fighting returned to France early in March, 1918.
